Day 1: Arrival and Kigali City Tour

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking & Canopy walk

Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe lasts about 2-7 hour including one hour of close contact with the chimpanzees in their natural habitats. Once you are done trekking chimpanzees, meet your driver to return to the lodge for lunch.
  • Canopy walk: After enjoying the lunch, embark on an afternoon canopy walk within Nyungwe forest where you will encounter more primates including monkeys, and chimpanzees. This canopy walk is on an elevation of 50 meters above the ground offering a clear view of the park and the neighboring volcanoes. After the canopy walk, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Akagera National park

Day 5: Morning game drive & afternoon boat cruise
