DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Kigali city tour
Arrival and Kigali city tour: Upon arrival at Kigali international airport on day 1 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, you will be welcomed in the land of a thousand hills by our company representative who will pick you and drive you to your respective hotel in Kigali city for check in. depending on your arrival time, you will enjoy a meal and then embark on a city tour exploring different parts of Kigali city such as Kigali genocide memorial sites where several hundreds of Rwandese were brutally murdered in cold blood during the 1994 genocide. You will also explore market places, craft shops and any more. Return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to Volcanoes national park: After breakfast on day 2 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, check out of the hotel in Kigali and embark on a drive to Volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri. You will enjoy stopovers along the way and upon park arrival, proceed to check in the lodge for lunch after which you will have either a relaxed evening or opt for a guided walk to visit the twin Lakes of Burela and Ruhondo. Remember to return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes national park
Gorilla trekking: After an early breakfast at your lodge on day 3 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, pack enough drinking water and snacks and meet your safari driver for a transfer to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about gorilla trekking in Rwanda, the dos and don’ts during trekking and many more. After briefing, hire a porter and be led into the forest to search for the habituated troop of endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. The trek lasts from a few minutes to almost 5 hours but upon finding gorillas, you will spend only 1 hour in their natural habitats interacting closely and taking photographs. After an hour, exit the forest and return to your lodge for diner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking in Volcanoes national park
Golden monkey trekking: After breakfast on day 4 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, meet your safari driver and be transferred to the briefing grounds where you will participate in a pre-trek briefing about golden monkeys. After briefing, head to the forest and search for the golden monkey troops that have been habituated for trekking. Trekking golden monkey is very fascinating since you have a golden opportunity of spotting a huge troop. Just like gorillas, you will spend 1 hour in their presence taking photographs then return to your lodge for lunch. Spend your evening at leisure or have a cultural tour to Ibyiwacu cultural village where you will get a touch of a cultural performance.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest national park
Transfer to Nyungwe forest national park: After breakfast on day 5 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, check out of the lodge and meet your driver for a transfer to Nyungwe forest national park one of the best primate park in Rwanda that harbors 13 primate species. Being a long drive with stopovers, you will enjoy an enroute lunch and proceed to the park where you will arrive in evening hours and proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy walk in Nyungwe forest national park.
Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy walk: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast on day 6 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour, then pack your snacks and drinking water and be transferred to Kanyanchu where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking, the dos and don’ts during chimpanzee trekking and many more. After briefing, search for the chimpanzees in their natural habitat for about 2-5 hours then spend only one hour in their presence taking photographs then exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch after which you will embark on 2-3 hours canopy walk that comprises of a 150M stretch elevated at 50M high above the ground. This canopy walk is one of the world’s best canopies. Return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 7: Return to Kigali for Departures
Return to Kigali for departures: Have a relaxed breakfast at your lodge on day 7 of 7 days Rwanda safari tour then check out of the lodge and be driven back to Kigali. Lunch will be enroute along the way Kigali and upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or direct at Kigali international airport for a flight back home or to the next travel destination.
