Day 1: Pick-Up and Kigali City Tour
- Kigali City Tour: On this day 1 of the 3 Days Rwanda Chimpanzee Tour, our company driver will pick you up at any place in Kigali, it could be at the airport or at any lodge with in Kigali city and the surrounding place. Head for a half-day city tour exploring different corners of Kigali city including a visit to the Kimironko market, museums, genocide memorial museum, palace, meet with friendly Rwandese and even learn some local word and many more with lunch in any hotel in Kigali. After the city tour, you will be driven to the lodge for check-in, dinner and goodnight rest. Meal plan: Lunch and dinner
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe national park, Rwanda
- Chimpanzee Trekking: On this day 2 of the 3 days Rwanda tour, you will be required to wake up very early in the morning and meet with your driver to start the journey to Nyungwe forest national park for the breath taking chimpanzee trekking in the wild. Depending on where you slept the previous night, you have to be at the park by 6:00 am for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking before starting the trek. Consider the activity to last between 2-6 hours depending on the level of trekker’s fitness and the movement by the chimpanzees. On this day, you will have to move with a packed lunch box and enough snacks without forgetting enough bottled water which is provided by the tour operator. After the briefing at the headquarters, trekkers have a drive to the starting point where they encounter with armed rangers and porters for hire then proceed to start the trek. Once a particular chimpanzee family is found, only one hour is allowed in the presence of chimpanzee for photographs and interaction. During the chimpanzee trekking in Cyamudongo forest, keep your eyes clear for the probability of sighting out other different primates, mammals, birds, butterflies and identify several plant species with in the forest. Day 3: Coffee Plantation Tour and departures
