Day 1: Drive from Kigali Rwanda to virunga national park
Transfer to Virunga national park: On day 1 of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo, you will start your package with a pick up from Kigali by our safari driver who will then introduce you to your itinerary as you set off on a drive to Goma. While in Goma, you will cleared to obtain a Congo visa, and all the gorilla permits and Nyiragongo permit then join the convoy to start the way to your lodge where you will check in for lunch at Ngila lodge. Later in the evening, you will enjoy your dinner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 2: 1st Gorilla trek in Virunga national park
First Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park: day 2 of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo is the real adventure in the wilderness of virunga national park where you will spend an hour with endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Well, star your day with a heavy breakfast then pack some snacks and drinking water to be transferred to Bukima police post where briefing is conducted by experienced rangers. After briefing, you will then set off on a walk into the forest searching for the habituated gorillas then spend an hour with them. Later on, exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch.

Day 3: 2nd Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park
Second gorilla trekking in Virunga national park: After breakfast on day 3 of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo, you will repeat similar proceedures just like in day 2 starting with a briefing at Bukima police post. During briefing, inform your rangers to allocate you a different gorilla family then hire a porter and start the forest walk until you land on the gorillas. Spend an hour as usual which is the maximum time possible allowed to spend with gorillas in close vicinity. Exit the forest once again and return to the lodge for lunch awaiting a relaxed Barbeque dinner which is inclusive in your package.

Day 4: 3rd Gorilla trekking and visit Senkwekwe gorilla orphanage
Third Gorilla trekking in Virunga national park: Day 4 of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo I the last day to see gorilla on a 3rd trek. Wake up as early as possible for breakfast then check out of the lodge and be transferred back to Bukima police post for a third briefing before penetrating the forest to search for the habituated gorilla family for the 3rd trek. Spend an hour with the gorilla and exit the forest to be driven to Mikeno lodge for check in and lunch. Later in the evening, you will then take on an adventure to visit Senkwekwe gorilla orphanage where you will spend some good time with orphaned gorillas. Return to your lodge in evening for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 5: Hike Mount Nyiragongo (Ascend) in Virunga national park
Mount Nyiragongo hike (Ascend): On day 5 of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo, have a heavy breakfast then check out of the lodge with all that you require for a successful Nyiragongo hike including your Nyiragongo backpacker, enough snacks, appropriate hiking attire and many more then be driven to Kibati ranger post where you will be briefed before setting on a thrilling hike to summit the top of the most active mount Nyiragongo. During the hike, look out for different wildlife species including primates, mammals, birds and many more that make the hike really adventurous. Lunch will be enjoyed enroute while dinner will be at the summit. The most fascinating part of this hike is watching the boiling lava overnight.

Day 6: Descend Nyiragongo and transfer back to Kigali for departures
Descend Nyiragongo back to Kibati and transfer to Kigali: This the last day of 6 days Ngila classic package Congo thus arise in the morning at the summit of mount Nyiragongo have breakfast if possible and start descending back to Kibati where you will then be picked by a convoy and transferred to Goma. As soon as you get back to Goma, you will then cross back into Rwanda obtain a new Rwanda visa and be driven to Kigali for a city tour and departures.
