Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrival in Arusha: This first day of your safari in Tanzania starts with your arrival in Tanzania, best recommended airport to arrive in is Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport. Arusha was once a capital city of Tanzania therefore there are good accommodation facilities for a night in Arusha. On this day, you can book a flight that arrives anytime depending on the flight schedule from your home country.
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you about your safari, help you with your luggage in the car then drive to your hotel. On this day, you will only be provided dinner at the lodge. Lunch will be optional. Overnight stay at

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National park

Transfer to Lake Manyara: After breakfast at the hotel, at an agreed time you with safari guide, depart Arusha to connect to Lake Manyara national park. This park is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingo birds and large numbers of baboons and incredible breath-taking views. It also rich in wildlife including the Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Zebras, Hippos and on a day you can spot the tree climbing lions. It’s a about 130kms (2 hours’ drive) from Arusha to Lake Manyara.
Game drive: Upon arrival at the park, enjoy a late morning game drive for chances to spot the mentioned animals above as you drive to check-in your lodge. Have lunch and spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure either on another game drive or visit Lake Manyara for the the chances of viewing the flamingo birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Transfer to Serengeti National Park: After breakfast, you transfer to Serengeti national park. It is about 205 kms (4-5 hours’ drive). First you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Later afternoon, you will drive to Central Serengeti for game drive. In this area of the park, you will have opportunity to see big prides of lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Giraffes, Elephants, different Antelopes and other wildlife. Later in the evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at either lodge as above

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – All day game drive

Serengeti National Park – All day game drive: After breakfast, you will drive to Central Serengeti for game drive for yet another game drive. This area has a lot of animals to explore at your disposal with your picnic lunch. In this area of the park, you will have opportunity to see big prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, different antelopes and other wildlife. Late afternoon after your full day game drive, return to your lodge as above

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater: After an early breakfast, connect to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will connect to Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunch for a full day of game drive in the crater. The crater has a good number of Lions and Cheetahs, and it is another good place to see the rare black Rhino. In the late afternoon, visit a Masai village and enjoy the cultural experience before you connect to your lodge for check-in dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar

Transfer to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar: After breakfast, embark on your journey back to Arusha. Have your lunch at one of the hotels in Arusha before you proceed to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to Warere beach hotel/Tulia Zanzibar Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Leisure at the beach

Leisure at the beach: Wake up at leisure and wake up to a delicious breakfast, relax and chill at the beautiful Zanzibar beach. You will have lunch at the resort then continue enjoying the beautiful breeze at the beach. You may enjoy some activities that the hotel organises like village walks, snorkelling, fishing, and scuba diving, snorkelling to mention a few and you may choose depending on your interests. In the evening you will have dinner and overnight at the resort as above.

Day 8: Relaxation at the beach

Relaxation at the beach: After breakfast, spend yet another day chilling and relaxing at the beautiful beach. You will have lunch at the resort then continue enjoying the beautiful breeze at the beach. In the evening, you will have dinner, and overnight at the resort.

Day 9: Fly back to Arusha
