The 8 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari starts with the less visited Arusha National Park where you can explore it on foot and in your vehicle before you move westwards to the famous Tarangire. Tarangire is home to diverse and teeming with wonderful wildlife. Then, safari will take you to Lake Manyara National Park whose wildlife lives at beneath the dramatic backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment and on the shores of the sparkling lake. The next destination to visit is Serengeti National Park where you will have a full program of game drives, letting you explore the impressive and beautiful landscapes of this famous place.
Then, you will end your safari adventure in another Tanzanian gem the incredible crater of Ngorongoro to search for a black rhino.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
On day 1 of the 8 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari, you will arrive at the Airport and be picked up by our safari representative to drive you to Gran Melia Arusha and brief you about the trip. Enjoy a restful night before beginning your adventure the next day. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive from Arusha town to Arusha National Park ‘’1hour drive’’
On the 2nd day of the 8 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari, you will be picked up early morning after your breakfast by your driver guide. Reaching at the hotel, a guide will inform the receptionists that he is waiting for you. After meeting up with your driver guide you will head to the nearby Arusha National Park. From Arusha, the journey will start at 8:30 to Arusha Park by 9:30 am. You will have your first safari destination.
Arrive at the park and register at the gate with the help of an armed ranger for safety with your expert driver guide. After, you will choose from a number of routes, depending on what this small but beautiful park offers much of attractions to adventure. The ranger guide will take you through while showing you the deep holes dug by aardvarks as well as searching for animals like zebras, duiker, giraffes and hippos as well as spotting black and white colobus monkeys and egrets and sacred ibis can often be observed.
During your game, you might meet the aptly named strangler fig, which sucks the life out of other trees.
You might also have a great chance to visit one of the park’s picturesque waterfalls Tululusia, as it plummets 30 meters down to a rocky base.
After your walking safari, you will return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
Later, you can go for an evening game drive. After you will head back to your accommodation, enjoy your dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Arusha and then transfer to Tarangire National Park, approx. 2hour drive’’
After morning breakfast, you will start the journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, always keep your eyes open in order to be amazed by the Masai herdsmen driving their flocks of goats to new pastures. Once you have entered Tarangire, you will begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River.
Tarangire National Park is known as the ‘’Elephant playground’’ this spectacular park contains the largest population of mammals like buffalos, lions, Gnu, zebra and gazelle, Kudu and Oryx. It is also home to various bird species and the commonly spotted birds are a lilac–breasted roller, secretary bird, or superb starling and Ostrich is plentiful here.
The park is also perfect for its noble baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia woodland. After an extensive game drive, you will drive to your accommodation for some relaxation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tarangire and then drive Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
On the 4th day of the 8 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari, wake up have breakfast before you head to Lake Manyara National Park. You will proceed with your journey to Lake Manyara with a travel time of around 2 hours. You will drive through the Rift Valley escarpment which is characterized by its shimmering lake.
Lake Manyara National Park is rich in vegetation and wildlife species. You will enjoy the tranquility of unique pink flamingoes which can be seen picking out a meal of algae from the shallow, alkaline waters.
The park also boosts differing environments such as diverse forests fed by water seeping from the nearby escarpment. It is also home to abundant monkeys as well as lions, giraffes, warthogs and grumpy cape buffalo which call Lake Manyara their home.
After an extensive game drive and lunch, proceed a drive onwards to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5: Karatu to Serengeti National Park ‘’3:30hour drive’’
After breakfast, embark to the next destination, the famous Serengeti National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the country’s oldest and largest national park. Along the way, you will observe the breathtaking scenery, and fantastic changing light among others.
The park is home to thousands of predators and their prey numbering in the hundreds of thousands of species.
Arrive at the park and go for a game drive where you will spot thousands of animals and millions of wildebeest if you visit from the month of July to October. After, return back to your lodge or camp. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Waking up in the Serengeti enjoy your breakfast. After, head to a full day wildlife adventure in the world’s most famous national park. You will be able to marvel at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert driver guide,
During your game drive, you will also see the distinctive rocky outcrops and the famous kopjes which is characterized the Serengeti landscape. Have a break to enjoy a picnic lunch in the middle of the bush.
After lunch, embark on game drive to search for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park. Return to your lodge late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Depart from Serengeti National Park to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, go for the morning game drive en route to encounter animals you might have missed seeing on the previous game drive.
You can choose to pass by the Serengeti Visitor Centre where there is a perfect explanation of the park’s eco-system and a chance to know about the history of conservation in this area. You will have en-route lunch and after you will head southeast towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Truly, Serengeti’s endless plains will make a deep impression on you as will experience the long, straight road which passes Simba Kopjes ‘’ famous for the Lion King’’ to access Naabi Hill Gate – close to the divide between Serengeti and Ngorongoro. From here, you will collect information at the visitor’s Centre at the gate, and clamber up the hill for splendid views back over the plains among others. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
On your last day, you will set off after breakfast and then access the rim as you descend into the vast crater itself before you head back to Arusha to be dropped off at your hotel or at the Airport for your departure flight.
