Primate safari lodge lies in the midst of the forest so you can hear sounds of the forest right from your room which is beautiful.
Layout; Primate safari lodge its main area has a small restaurant, living area, a cozy fire pit and curio shop. lodge is surrounded with tropical gardens that are kept clean and bright in a way it attracts the visitors right from the moment they arrive. All rooms were set behind the main entrance with the standard rooms to path on the left and the luxury chalet rooms along a path to the right of the lodge. They all have good level of privacy.
Rooms; Their rooms are simple, bright and clean. So we recommend the luxury chalet rooms as they are larger and have a private veranda overlooking of the attractive garden. The rooms offer en-suites with everything you expect to see inside and large beds with mosquito nets around them for the evening.
Activities : Since it’s a short 5 minute drive to the meeting point for chimpanzee track briefing about the rules and regulations .The main activity to do while at Primate safari lodge is chimpanzee tracking experience .Kibale national park is prime of primates estimating 1,500 individuals .Tourists to engage in the activity should notice that ,the activity starts early in the morning with a briefing at the park headquarters ,then after you will be located to habituated chimpanzees with a guide , you will begin tracking through the forest trail heads in search for habituated chimpanzee group. Once you locate them, you are allowed one hour to watch them before you head back to the lodge.
Kyaninga Lodge

Layout; Kyaninga Lodge has a lot of attractive stairs, which leads out to a large wooden veranda with spectacular view of the crater lakes and the magical Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge’s main area has cozy lounge with a roaring fire and of books and games available to the readers as well as a small dining area for your meals. The rooms are allocated to one side of the main area and are spread along a tall wooden walkover.
Please note this; The lodge has a lot of stairs so it is ideal for those with walking problems.
Rooms; The lodge has spacious rooms with large bed, a seating area, well –furnished en-suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the magic of Rwenzori Mountains. Rooms are large enough to fit an extra bed or making it a triple.
Activities; The main done activities to tourists who visits the lodge is chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest. You will wake up early have aroma coffee tea served in the lodge and then after your driver guide will drive you to meeting center at around 7:00am for briefing. Papaya Lake Lodge
Papaya Lake Lodge; its independent lodge located on high altitude in the Ugandan’s Great Crater lakes region. With only nine small cottages, Papaya Lodge is a relaxing place with amazing views right from the rooms, the main area and the swimming pool. But the rooms might not be impressive as the main area décor, the swimming pool exceeds all expectations and in our opinion, the canopy around is rewarding with its beautiful green environment.
Location; The lodge lies in the crater lake region, sitting high above both the Lyantonde and Kafuruka Lake. To visitors who choose this lodge to be their stayover while at Kibale national park, are likely to do a chimpanzee tracking. From here to the headquarters is only one-hour drive and then do some tracks or walk around the area.
Rooms; Papaya lake lodge offers nine rooms which are located further down from the main area, you need to be somehow fit because there are lot of steps involved in.
Activities; Many activities can be done along here if you choose to do combine itinerary with Queen Elizabeth national park and get to enjoy chimpanzee tracking, game drive, and nature. Then the following day it can be time to relax in the camp.
Ndali Lodge

Location; The lodge was built near to Kibale National park located in western region of Uganda. It is only few minutes of around 45-60 minutes to get from the lodge to the park headquarter of Kibale as a starting point for a chimpanzee tracking. Ndali lodge sits high up with spectacular views either side of the lakes. Its location is shortest way to connect to Queen Elizabeth national park since it sits between Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National park.
Layout; The lodge offers a homely and colonial feel to it and as you enter, you will be greeted by the owner’s friendly dogs. It was designed with beautiful garden and the infinity swimming pool which looks out to the Rwenzori Mountains. The main house has a cool area for relaxing, reading and eating. Moreover, down the gardens along a pathway there are rooms which are spread out well.
Rooms; The rooms at Ndali Lodge are good. They also have stone cottages with good size including a comfortable bed, a well- appointed en-suite bathrooms and veranda in the garden. They can include extra beds for children, if you travel as family and the lodge has relatively good compact.
The main attraction or activity to do here is the chimpanzee tracking. You can still do more gorgeous activities since the lodge lies in between Kibale and Queen Elizabeth national park a home to adventure the tree climbing lions.
