Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & pickup from Entebbe international airport
- Arrival and pick up from Entebbe: Upon arrival on your day 1 of 7 days Kidepo and Murchison Falls safari, you will be picked up from the airport by our company driver and have a briefing as you head towards Kampala city where you will check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- Kampala city tour: After lunch, meet your driver for an evening Kampala city tour where you will visit some places including some religious sites, markets among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Meal plan: Lunch and dinner
Day 2: Transfer to Gulu with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
- Transfer to Gulu: On day 2 of 7 days Kidepo and Murchison Falls safari, you will wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge and meet with the drive to start a long journey towards the northern part of Uganda.
- Rhino trekking: You will have a stopover in Masindi for lunch and another stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Masindi to trek White Rhinos then proceed to Gulu where you will check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley national park

You will have an enroute lunch and arrive late in the evening where you will check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day game drive in Kidepo Valley National park
- Game drive: On day 4 of 7 days Kidepo and Murchison falls safari, you will wake up in the morning enjoy your breakfast and pack your lunch box to meet with the driver as you head into the wilderness of Kidepo valley national Park for a full day game drive. You will be in a position to sport lots of wildlife species such as mammals, birds, beautiful flowers and have ample time exploring the green vegetation in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison falls park
- Transfer to Murchison: On day 5 of 7 days Kidepo and Murchison Falls safari, you wake up in the morning, enjoy your breakfast and embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park. You will have an enroute lunch and proceed to the park with the expectation to arrive late in the evening, have a brief drive on top of the falls and proceed to check-in at the lodge for Dinner and overnight relaxation.

Day 6: Morning Game drive and Afternoon boat cruise
- Morning game drive: On day 6 of 7 days Kidepo and Murchison fall safari, you will wake in the morning, have your breakfast served and meet with your driver for an early morning game drive. You will be in a position to spot different wildlife species including the nocturnal species before they return to their hiding places where they spend day hours. During the game drive, you will different mammals such as Lions, Elephants, Uganda Kob, Buffalos and different species of birds.
- Evening boat cruise: Once you are done with the game drive, return to the lodge, freshen up and enjoy your lunch before embarking on the journey to enjoy a fascinating boat cruise that starts at 2:00 pm on Nile River where you will sail towards the Murchison waterfalls while sighting out different mammals along the shores. Mammals seen include Hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes among others.
- Hiking top of the falls (optional): this is an optional activity as it requires a particular level of fitness to hike up the fall and it lasts 45minutes. Once the done is done, return to the lodge and enjoy your dinner and have a good night’s sleep.
Day 7: Return to Entebbe for Departures
- Return to Kampala: This is the last day of your 7days Kidepo and Murchison falls safari. You are expected to wake up in the morning, have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge, meet your driver and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have an enroute lunch in Masindi and proceed with the journey direct to Kampala and connect to Entebbe for departures.
