Uganda has the highest population of these creatures in Bwindi forest national park. Kibale forest national park is Africa’s best chimpanzee trekking destination with guaranteed best views of the chimpanzees and other 12 existing primates in the park. It is also a home to 138 species of birds, 250 tree species and 60 species of forest wildlife including forest elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs and buffaloes.

Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Upon arrival in Entebbe airport for the 15 Days Uganda Kenya Primates & Wildlife Safaris, you will be met by our company representative/ driver who will drive you to your booked hotel in Kampala. Dinner and overnight stay in Fairway Hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and transfer to Murchison falls national park with en-route visit of Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 3 hours’ drive from Kampala for Rhino trekking experience and lunch break. Thereafter, connect to proceed to the park to connect to your booked lodge. Dinner and overnight stay Pakuba Safari lodge
Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise and hike to the top of the falls
Early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive at the delta where you may spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. Return and have lunch then at 2pm, you will go for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe.
After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will hike up the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your driver to return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Have breakfast and embark on your whole day drive to Kibale national park– the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Arrive in the park late evening and connect to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Guesthouse
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland Visit
After breakfast on day 5 of the 15 Days Uganda Kenya Primates & Wildlife Safaris, you will go for chimpanzee trekking with your packed food and water. Meet your guide at the head office then enter the rainforest to start searching for the chimpanzee, this will take 2-5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while taking pictures.
After tracking you will refresh at the lodge then go for a 2-3 hours nature walk then proceed to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. This is a 3 hours’ drive from Fort portal with en route at the Equator. Dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari lodge
Day 6: Lion tracking/game drive and Boat cruise
After breakfast early morning, go for a lion tracking experience where you are guaranteed to view the lions, enjoy en-route game drive at Kisenyi area where you will spot a good number of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes and all species of antelopes.
After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife/bird watching experience as you cruise on lake Edward/George. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
After breakfast, drive out of the park to connect to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of Uganda Mountain Gorillas). Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven lodge
Day 8: Gorilla trekking experience.
Wake up early, have breakfast and connect to the forest with your packed food and water. The briefing from the park warden about the gorillas starts at 8 am where your will be guided on highlights about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Return to the lodge to unwind and dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 9: Drive to Entebbe
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed back to Kampala with en route lunch in Mbarara town and the Equator. Arrive Entebbe late afternoon and connect to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Best Western Garden Hotel.
Day 10: Fly to Kisumu and transfer to Nakuru national park
Depending on your flight time, you will have breakfast and be dropped at Entebbe airport for your flight to Masai Mara, departing at 12:15 pm to 13:15 pm. You will be met by your Kenyan guide and transfer to Nakura national park. You will have en-route late lunch then proceed to 3-4 hours’ drive to the park. Dinner and overnight stay Ziwa Bush Lodge
Day 11: Full day Nakuru national park
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. During the game drive spot animals like the lions, leopards, hyenas and different antelope species. Later afternoon drive to Lake Nakuru and enjoy the views of huge numbers of flamingo birds on the lake shores and other bird species. In addition to the bird life of the park, explore the park’s wildlife spotting animals like the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas and zebras. Before night fall return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge
Day 12: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve via Crescent Island tour in Lake Naivasha
After very early, have breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara national reserve with en-route for about 2-3 hours’ at the crescent island in Lake Naivasha to find some of the interesting animals. After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara national reserve which is along the floor of the magnificent rift valley for unlimited game drive and land of the Masai people. Proceed to your lodge for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at AA lodge Masai Mara – Mid-range option
Day 13: Full day Masai Mara
After breakfast, full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Day 14: Transfer to Nairobi
After breakfast, you will do another game drive before you drive out of the park to connect to Nairobi city. Upon arrival, proceed to do your Covid 19 test in one of the recognized hospitals, and then drive to your Hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight stay at Hilton Hotel Nairobi/Raddisson Blu Hotel/The Boma Nairobi Hotel/Golden Tulip Westerlands Nairobi
Day 15: Departure
Depending on your departure flight back home, you have breakfast and wait for your flight after receiving your negative test results. You will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight back home.
