During the 1 day Kampala city tour, you will visit several places which have a lot of attractions including the Religious sites such as the Namugongo shrine located about 12 km from the city center Kampala, along Jinja road which was put in place in memory of the Christian believers that were killed due to their religion during the leadership of the Kabaka Mwanga in 1886, the Bahia Temple which was put in place as a result of Bahia’s faith in 1951 but later was stopped by the late president Idi Amini  in 1977and later on reopened after his downfall, visit the Gadhafi mosque which is situated on the old Kampala Hill , visit the Rubaga Cathedral which was constructed by the missionaries in the 20th century  located on the Rubaga hill which is also a center of hospital like Rubaga hospital and schools , visit the Namirembe church which is an Anglican church situated on top of the Namirembe Hill. After visiting the religious sites.

Proceed for the Historical sites where you will see several museums and monuments including the Uganda National Museum which is the oldest museum in East Africa, visit the makerere university zoology museum where you will see several remains of animals, birds, and plants that are being preserved for research purposes, visit the independence monument that was put in place by the British government in the 1962, visit the Speke road to view the Sir Edward Mutesa II monument that was put in place in memory of the first president of Uganda after the independence. After lunch visit the Cultural sites which include the Kasubi tombs located on kasubi hill which are well known as the burial grounds for the Buganda kingdom’s kings, visit the kabaka’s palace on mengo hill which is also well known as the Idi Amin’s torture and murdering grounds during his regime in 1971-1979, the kabaka’s lake is yet another site not to miss out during your one day kampala city tour, visit the Ndere Troop Centre which was established in 1986 and it is located in Ntinda.
