  1. Bungee Jumping

When visiting Uganda, bungee jumping can be done in Jinja and it is among the adventure activities that tourists take part in.

Bungee jumping in Uganda is done along the River Nile and although it involves jumping from a high platform of about 44 meters, it is a safe activity to do during a tour in the country. A cord is tied to both legs of the individuals before they jump into the Nile.

The necessary safety equipment is also provided to tourists before they leap off the platform which is raised over the Nile water and photography is also part of this experience in Jinja. After the jump to the Nile, tourists are picked up by a waiting boat.

When visiting Jinja for the horse riding experience, tourists enjoy views of the Nile and this activity can be done by both children and adults.

In Lake Mburo national park, tourists can see wildlife species such as zebras, giraffes, buffalos, impalas, warthogs and many others while on horseback around the surroundings in the park and also enjoy views of the national park at the ridges found at the destination.

  1. Quad Biking

Quad biking is another must do adventure activity when visiting Uganda and it is also carried out during tours in Jinja.

This activity involves exploring the dirt path in the countryside on quad bikes and is done by individuals above the age of 12 years.  Quad biking experiences can take about 1 hour to 4 hours and starts with a briefing and test run on the bikes for about 30 minutes before riding into the countryside.

Riders are also grouped into categories of thee experienced riders and non experienced ones before engaging in the quad biking tours in Jinja. Safety helmets as well as overalls are also provided during this activity.
