Mount Elgon is in Mbale eastern Uganda size of 11121km square in bukalasi,manjiya,bududa district the distance between Kampala to mount elgon is about 230km through jinja high way can take you 4 to 5 hrs drive to mbale town and from mbale to mt elgon is 147 km which is 2hrs 30min while driving on a speed of 58 to 60 km/hr.
