The 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting is an amazing safari that will take you to Jinja where you will engage in white water rafting, Lake Mburo national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park. During this Uganda tour, you will be able to spot different animals like buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, zebras, topi, and impalas, among others, during the game drive. You will also engage in gorilla trekking activity, where you will be able to spend time with the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja
Depending on your location on the first day of the 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Jinja. Upon arrival in Jinja, you will connect to your lodge for lunch where after you will go for an interesting boat cruise to the source of the Nile, where you will enjoy great views of the scenery and landscape, view aquatic bird species, and take photos, among other things. After the source of the Nile boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: White water rating
After breakfast on the second day of the 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will be picked up by your driver guide from the lodge to go for the adventurous white water rafting experience, which starts with a briefing from an experienced guide. White water rafting takes almost a whole day and has different grades to experience, ranging from grade 1 to grade 5. After the whitewater rafting experience, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park-walking safari
On the third day of the 6 days of gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Lake Mburo national park. On the way, you will enjoy stunning views and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge and lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a walking safari in the park where you will get up-close and personal with different wildlife species, butterflies, spot and listen to sweet sounds of bird species, enjoy the cool breeze among others. After the walking safari, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight,
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the park where you will be able to spot animals like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, oribi, topi, waterbucks, warthogs among others.
After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park in south western part with en-route lunch. Upon arrival in Bwindi park you will check into the lodge, have dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking experience
On the fifth day of the 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will have breakfast and carry your packed lunch to go for a briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking, you will be able to view other primates, different bird species, plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their environment where you will get an opportunity to learn about their habits, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, groom young ones, take photos and record videos to show people back home after the safari.
After the encounter with the mountain gorillas, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Departure to Kampala/ Entebbe
On the last day of the 6 days gorilla trekking and white water rafting, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way and a stopover at the Equator where you will take photos and record videos. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advise
