1 day safari Lake Mburo national park : Lake mburo national park is among the national park in Uganda, considered to be the smallest savannah national park found in Nyabushozi county, Kiruhura district, 30km from Mbarara in the western part of Uganda . Lake mburo national park is close to the highway that connects kampala. It is the closest park from both kampala and Entebbe. The park was established in 1983, covering the total area of 260km squared with wetlands, ancient rocks, rolling hills , golden savannah , forests , swamps , lodging, , wildlife for safari tours to spot wide range of animals and course of 6 lakes of which lake mburo is the largest and Known , Lake Kigambira , Lake Mutukula, Lake Kazuma and Lake Bwara. Lake Mburo National park where you will be able to enjoy a game drive and boat cruise on this beautiful lake. This national park is among the smallest parks in Uganda and it has got a big population of Zebras, impalas, giraffes, kobs, antelopes, birds etc
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked from Kampala or any hotel of residence by your driver/guide be briefed and set off for 3 hour drive journey to Lake Mburo national park which is located in the western part of the country. Along the way you will have short stopover at the Equator where you will have a great time and take enough photos and buy souvenirs, proceed and arrive in the park early afternoon , have lunch then go for an exciting boat cruise where you will have a chance to see hippos, crocodiles and aquatic birds, while returning from Boat trip, end the day with adventurous evening, You will have a chance to see wide range of animals that includes; antelopes, impalas, elands, bushbucks, zebras, warthogs, kops and many more wildlife. After your day trip, exit the park and return back to Kampala, drop off at you hotel or airport for your onward trip.
