8 Days Uganda safari and White Water Rafting
The 8 days Uganda safari and white water rafting is an interesting adventure that will take you to Jinja, Murchison falls national park, Kibale forest national park also known as the primate capital and Queen Elizabeth national park.
During this Uganda tour and white water rafting, you will be able to engage in game drives and boat cruise where you will be able to view different animals like buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, lions, leopards, giraffes, oribi, topi, bush bucks among others. You will also engage in chimpanzee trekking activity where you will be able to spend time with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja
Depending on your location on the first day of your safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Jinja. Upon arrival in Jinja, you will connect to your lodge for lunch, whereafter you will go for an interesting boat cruise to the source of the Nile, where you will enjoy great views of the scenery and landscape, view aquatic bird species, and take photos, among other things. After the source of the Nile boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Whitewater rating
After breakfast on the second day of the 8 days Uganda safari and white water rafting, you will be picked up by your driver guide from the lodge to go for the adventurous white water rafting experience, which starts with a briefing from an experienced guide. White Water rafting takes almost a whole day and has different grades to experience, ranging from grade 1 to grade 5. After the whitewater rafting experience, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa rhino sanctuary
After breakfast on the third day you will meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Murchison falls national park. On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking in Uganda, whereafter you will proceed with another stopover for an en-route lunch. After lunch you will continue to Murchison falls national park and upon arrival, you will drive directly to the top of the falls, where you will enjoy stunning views of the most powerful waterfall and later connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
On the fourth day of the 8 days Uganda safari and white water rafting, you will have an early breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in the park, where you will be able to spot different animals like giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, and warthogs; view lions and leopards looking for a morning hunt; and spot different bird species, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, where you will be able to view hippos and crocodiles in the water, view buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes along the shores, and view water birds like kingfishers, cormorants, fish eagles, and bee-eaters, among others. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
On the fifth day you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale National Park. On the way you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy stunning views of the Rwenzori peaks, farmlands, landscape, and tea plantations, among others. Upon arrival, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast on the sixth of the 8 days Uganda wildlife safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a Uganda chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest with an experienced park guide, which takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located. During trekking, you will be able to view different primate species, birds, and plant and tree species among others and once the chimpanzees are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the chimpanzees in their habitat, where you will be able to learn about their habits and behaviors and watch them feed, breastfeed, play, rest, take photos and record videos.
After the encounter with the chimpanzees, you will return back to the lodge for lunch, whereafter you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park which takes about 2 to 3 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Morning game drive/lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the seventh day of the 8 days Uganda safari and white water rafting, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in the park, where you will be able to spot animals like lions, leopards, and hyenas looking for a morning hunt; view other animals like waterbucks, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, elephants, and warthogs; and view different bird species, among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an amazing boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water body that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the boat cruise, which takes about 2 to 3 hours’ drive, you will be able to view large concentrations of hippos in water, view Nile crocodiles basking on the water banks, view buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes drinking water along the shores, and view aquatic bird species like cormorants, hornbills, kingfishers, and bee-eaters, among others. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Departure to Kampala/Entebbe
On the last day of the 8 days Uganda safari and white water rafting, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala with lunch en route. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice.
