DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Gulu
Early in the morning of day 1 of the 7 days Uganda safari, you will be ready for pick up from your hotel in Kampala /Entebbe and be driven towards the northern part of Uganda directly to Gulu town. On this day, you may enjoy an enroute white rhino trek at Ziwa rhino sanctuary along the way to Gulu and later on have an en route lunch. Upon arrival in Gulu, you will check in for dinner and have an overnight.

Day 2 : Gulu to Kidepo valley national park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and depart Gulu for Kidepo Valley National Park. Kidepo valley national park is situated at the extreme northern part of Uganda bordering south Sudan in the north and Kenya in the east. Once you get to the park, check in for lunch and embark on the evening wildlife viewing safari while on a game drive. Being the best savanna national park in Uganda, you will encounter a lot of wildlife species including herbivores such as elephants, buffaloes, Carnivores and hunters such as cheetahs, lions etc. after the game drive, and return for dinner at the booked lodge and have an overnight.

Day 3 : Morning game drive and Karamojong community tour
Ensure that your breakfast is served in time, then meet your driver for yet a fascinating game drive safari with in the savanna plains of kidepo valley national park. Proceed with the drive in the wilderness of Narus valley to view the mammals as they quench their thirst, enjoy a view of the water birds and later on return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you may take some rest and embark on an evening community tour where you will spend ample time with the local Karamojong. You will visit their Kraals as you learn their cultural practices including milking, Visit their manayttas and enjoy a breath taking cultural performances of dance and drama to make your evening unforgettable as you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight STAY

Day 4 : Trek to Morungole Mountains to the native Karamojong
After breakfast at the lodge ,pack your lunch box, drinking water and then embark on Mount Morungole trek to visit the native Karamojong people known as the IK community of people who are situated at the top of mount Morungole. This is known to be the most remote community of people in Uganda and their population is the smallest as compared to other communities in Uganda. Enjoy a scenic view of the beautiful Vegetation cover and a sparkling view of the rift valley region and Karamojong plains. Later in the evening, you will descend back to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 5 : Transfer to Sipi Area via Pian Upe wildlife reserve
After enjoying your breakfast, check out of your lodge and meet your driver to EXIT kidepo valley national park and start your journey to Sipi falls area with an enroute game drive with in Pian Upe wildlife reserve where you will spot Zebras, Cheetahs, Cape Buffaloes, Jackals, Antelopes, and many more with in this fresh and less visited wildlife reserve in Uganda. Probably lunch will be packed on this day 5. After visiting the Pian Upe, you will proceed your journey to Sipi falls where you will check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 : Hike Sipi falls & Connect to Jinja to Visit source of the Nile
Once you are done with breakfast ,you will set off for a tremendous and fascinating Sipi falls hike via the local communities and plantation to the water falls, you will start the hike with the highest waterfall at 100m to the medium waterfall at 85m and finally to a lowest waterfall at 75m. This Sipi Falls hike lasts at least 3-4 hours thus you will be done in time for lunch.
Transfer to Jinja and visit source of the Nile: After lunch, you will check out of the lodge without wasting time and start the journey to Jinja direct to visit source of the Nile River on a boat cruise. After visiting the source of the Nile, you will be transferred to a hotel in Jinja for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : White Water Rafting & departures
After breakfast on the last day of you trip, you will spend a half day on a white water rafting adventurous safari at Itanda water falls. This is the most fascinating activity carried out in Jinja along the Nile River at the Itanda waterfall. However, if you are fit and in for more activities, then you may also enjoy Bungee jumping, before returning to the lodge for lunch.
Departures: after enjoying your lunch, check out of the lodge and meet your driver to embark on the journey from Jinja to Kampala for a brief city tour before departing.
