Day 1 of 7 days Kampala and Entebbe Safari: Arrival & Hotel transfer
You will be welcomed by a driver / guide from our Uganda tours and travel agency and transferred to the hotel in Entebbe.
Overnight: Protea Hotel Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja – (source of the Nile and Sunset cruise)
Have breakfast and your guide will be ready to transfer you to Jinja with a smooth drive through the famous Mabira forest and Lugazi as you take in the scenic landscapes characterized by tea and sugarcane plantations. Arrive Jinja and visit the source of the Nile River after which you will transfer to Jinja Nile Resort, check in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise and explore the might River Nile, taking in all its beauty. The cruise lasts about 2 hours and you will return to the loge well in time for dinner.

Day 3: A day at Itanda Falls
wake up at leisure, have breakfast and drive to Itanda falls. Being a weekend, a visit to Itanda falls will be more rewarding! You will witness the intimidating falls as water crashes onto the stones and literally “boils”! A guided walk along the banks will expose you to the surrounding and a story of the late Kadoma. Local divers are available for hire to entertain the kids and you will likely meet other visitors and make new friends!
Return to the lodge for lunch, rest for a moment and go for scenic flight of Jinja in the evening. The flight will expose you to remarkable aerial views of Jinja town and its surroundings including Lake Victoria shores, source of the Nile, Bujagali falls, tea estates, sugar plantations, River Nile, and the spectacular Mabira forest.

Day 4: Horse riding
Enjoy breakfast and go horse riding at the Nile Horseback Safari company. There are different options to choose from but of course the kids will be offered the 30 minutes to 1 hour pony rides where the guides will assist them walk the horses. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Back to Kampala
Have breakfast and drive around Jinja town and learn about a few sites including Owen Falls Dam, Nytil and the Brewery and later transfer back to Kampala arriving well in time for lunch and spend the evening relaxing at the Hotel.

Day 6: Kampala City Tour and transfer to Entebbe
Enjoy breakfast and head out for a tour of Kampala city visiting Namugongo martyrs shrine, Uganda museum, Kasubi tombs and Gadaffi mosque where you’ll get an aerial view of Kampala. Have lunch and depart Kampala for Entebbe. Spend the evening at Imperial resort where you can enjoy a cold drink and have the kids tour the caves and enjoy a stroll on the sandy beach!

Day 7: UWEC (ZOO) & Departure
Have breakfast and visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) zoo where you will see a number of wildlife and reptiles if you wish and later transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
