Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls national park

Drive from Kampala to Murchison falls national park: On day 1 of 4 days Murchison falls wildlife safari & Kibale forest chimpanzee trekking, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala and set off on a drive to Murchison falls national park in North western part of Uganda. Lunch will be enroute in Masindi town and then proceed with your journey to Murchison falls national park via top of falls where you will enjoy a fascinating feel of the cool breath from the waterfall and have a view of the waterfall as it passes through a tinny hole with a thunderous sound. Lunch and dinner will be at the lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Game drive and boat cruise: After breakfast on day 2 of 4 days Murchison falls wildlife safari & Kibale forest chimpanzee trekking, your safari driver will take you for an early morning game drive to spot hunter, nocturnal mammals and many other attractions in this stunning savanna park of Uganda. Look out for Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Giraffes and many other species of birds. After game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River where you will be rewarded with abundant of bird life and many mammals along the shores of the river plus a view of the world’s most powerful waterfall “Devil cauldron”. The boat will stop boat at a particular distance allowing you to take as many photographs as possible. There is an option of top of falls hike. Otherwise, return to the lodge for dinner and have a night rest. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and have an overnight sleep as above.

Day 3: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

Drive to Kibale forest national park: After breakfast on day 4 of 4 days Murchison falls wildlife safari & Kibale forest chimpanzee trekking, check out and meet your Uganda safari driver for a transfer to Kibale forest national park which is considered a full day drive via stunning attractions of thrilling vegetation cover. You will as well be able to see local community members with in Hoima and Kagadi where you will stopover for an enroute lunch. Proceed to the park that harbors over 13 primate species making it the primate wonder of the world. Proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and return to Kampala

Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park: After breakfast on day 4 of 4 days Murchison falls wildlife safari & Kibale forest chimpanzee trekking, you will be transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu where you will meet rangers ready to brief you about Chimpanzee trekking before finally embarking on a forest walk to search for the habituated troops of Chimpanzees. The trek lasts about 2-5 hours depending on movement of Chimpanzees and upon finding Chimpanzees, you will spend only 1 hour with these primates taking photos and later on exit the forest back to your lodge for lunch and set off on a drive back to Kampala for a drop off at your communicated drop off location.
