Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and city tour
Kigali arrival: On day 1 of 11 days Rwanda Uganda safari tour, our company representative will be in Kigali waiting for your arrival and as soon as you land, he will meet and greet you then brief you about this 11 days itinerary as you drive to your reserved hotel for check in and lunch. Spend your evening on a city tour exploring the Kigali genocide memorial sites, Market centers and all beautiful places in Kigali city that are worth a visit. Return to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe forest national park
Drive to Nyungwe forest national park: After breakfast on day 2 of 11 days Rwanda Uganda safari tour, check out of the lodge and be driven to Nyungwe forest national park one of the best parks to visit at least once in a life time due to existence of several unique attractions including the forest itself. There are lots of attractions that are worth a stopover during your journey to Nyungwe forest national park and these include the king’s palace, the museum among others. Lunch will be enroute while dinner will be at the lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Canopy walk in Nyungwe forest national park
Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk: On day 3 of 11 days Rwanda Uganda safari tour, you need to wake up as early as possible, have breakfast and be driven as early as possible to the briefing grounds by 5:00am since chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest starts very early with briefing at 5:00am. After briefing, you will be led into the forest for 2-4 hours trek and after finding the chimpanzees, you will spend only one hour in their habitat taking photographs and closely interacting with chimpanzees. Exit the forest and return to your lodge for lunch.
Later in the evening, head to the forest for a 2-3 hours canopy walk in Nyungwe forest. You will encounter with several wildlife species during the canopy walk including primates, mammals, a view of the park and many more.

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes national park

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park
Gorilla trekking: After breakfast on 5 of 11 days Rwanda Uganda safari tour, meet your guide for a transfer to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the ultimate gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda. The briefing starts at 6:30 and by 7:00am, the actual trek starts as you walk via different trails in search of the habituated mountain gorillas. This trek takes about 2-7 hours with one hour of closely viewing gorillas. After spending an hour, exit the forest back to the lodge for a meal. Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
