Ngorongoro Crater Bird Checklist : Ngorongoro crater is a well-protected area, which is located in the Northern region of Tanzania, which is under the management of the Ngororongoro conservation Area Authority, and it covers a total surface area of about 8,292 square kilometers. Ngorongoro crater was established in 1959 and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is situated in a distance of about 180 kilometers from Arusha city. In addition, it a good Tanzania safari destination, which is being surrounded with, cool vegetation such as; savanna grasslands, woodlands, forests, alkaline lakes which all act as good natural habitats to many wildlife species and birds. More this national park commonly visited because it is a home to the big five animals which are seen as one of the top attractions which include; elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos and Rhinos.
