Tarangire National park.
Tarangire National park is located within Manyara region in Tanzania, it derived its name from the Tarangire River which transverses through the national park, it covers a total surface area of about 2,850 square kilometers, and it was established as a national park in 1970. And this national park is known to be a habitat for large number of herds of elephants and many other wildlife species like; olive baboons, gazelles, wildebeests, elands, lions, African wild dogs, fringe-eared Oryx, honey badger, warthog, giraffe, waterbucks, cape buffalo, cheetah, leopards, zebras, impala among others. more so, it acts as a good habitat to many bird species such as; yellow-necked spur fowl, hammerkops, African grey flycatcher, northern white crowned shrike, crested francolin, ostrich, Kori bustards and brown parrots among others.
