Bwindi Jungle View lodge is located 20 kilometers away from Bwindi Impenetrable national park in the southwestern Uganda region. This lodge is also located few kilometers away from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and sitted at the shores of Lake Muhele with exceptional views from the site.
The lodge is comprised of beautiful cottages built with local timber and the volcanic stones extracted from the Virunga volcanoes.
They also offer variety of drinks from the sitting area and spacious restaurant serving nice meals of local and international cuisine with special meals on the order for vegetarians.

Things to do at Bwindi Jungle view lodge –Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Gorilla trekking
This activity starts early in the morning with a briefing about the rules of gorilla trekking. Then after, go for gorilla trekking lead by park ranger guide in the forest trails. The activity can take about 30 to 7 hours depending on their movements. But remember to carry good essentials like comfortable rubber shoes, rain jackets, sunglasses, warm clothes, enough mineral water, enough energy giving snacks among others. The moment you allocate the gorillas one hour is given to you to watch them as they feed, play, behaviors, hunting, picture taking as well as enjoying packed lunch.
Nature walks
This is an interesting activity which can be conducted through several trails that provides great view of the species such as; Munyanga waterfall trail a beautiful trail to sight see various tree ferns, orchids and epithetic ferns as well as colorful butterflies among others.
Rushura hill walk; This trails offers amazing view of lake Edward and Lake George and Rwenzori mountains.
Buhoma –Nkuringo trails; This trails discovers 3 to 4 hours while exploring Bwindi ‘s beautiful attractions like vegetation, birds and primates.
Birding; The park is also a good site for birding on Uganda birding tours, boosts with over 348 bird species and some of species include; Common bulbul, African Emerald cuckoo, Fly catchers, African green pigeon, African harrier hawk, Cinnamon –chested bee eater, Kiev gerund thrush, Giant kingfisher among others.
Visit the Batwa; While on visit here, you can go visit the Batwa people in their nearby community. Visiting to their community and be able to learn more about the traditional forest practices of this hunter gather culture, enjoy their traditional dance and storytelling about the way they used to leave with mountain gorillas in the forest. You can support the people whose ancient way of life has been almost completely wiped out by modernization. These are the people who lived a typical hunter gatherer lifestyle. And are the men who used simple spears and arrows to catch birds, monkeys and small antelopes and bush pigs while the women their work is to forage for wild honey, fruit and barriers.
