Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park from Kigali
You will be picked up from the agreed location in Kigali, Rwanda, and briefed about the safari. Then, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda, approximately a 4- to 5-hour drive. The journey involves border crossing at Katuna.
As you drive along the way, you will enjoy scenic landscapes and rolling hills of the Kigezi highlands. Arrive at the park, have lunch, and check into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Four Gorilla Lodge (midrange) or Bweza Safari Lodge (budget).

Day 2: Gorilla trekking In Bwindi Depart to Kigali
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge, carrying your lunch boxes, followed by a briefing at the park headquarters. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi can take 2 to 7 hours to find them, depending on their location.

On locating them, you will have an hour with the gorillas, learning their behavior, feeding, grooming, and playing as well as capturing videos for memorable remembrance. After the trek, walk back to the park headquarters to be rewarded with your gorilla trekking certificate for participation.
Go meet your driver guide to depart back to Kigali. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will drop you at the hotel in Kigali or at any place of your choice.
