Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Masai Mara national park
- Arrival: On day 1 of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife and cultural safari, you will be met by our company representative in Kenya who will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi and transfer you to Masai Mara national park. Upon arrival at the park, you will be driven to the lodge where you will check-in, have a meal and relaxation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have an evening game drive near the lodge and then return to the lodge for dinner and goodnight sleep.

Day 2: Full day game drive
- Morning game drive: on day 2 of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife and Cultural safari, you will have your breakfast as early as possible in order to catch up with the hunters and nocturnal mammals before their return to the hideout. After breakfast meet your driver and have an early morning game drive before the sun rise. During this game drive you will spot Lions, cheetahs, Leopards, and other mammals like buffaloes, Hippos as they graze before the sun rise. This game drive takes about 2-6 hours depending on your choice. And since you have a full day drive in the park, you may return to the lodge during lunch hours for a hot meal.
- Afternoon and evening game drive: After enjoying your hot meal, you will be driven back to visit the other parts of the park including the side of Mara river where you will encounter with a huge population of wildebeests as they prepare to migrate or during migration from Serengeti national park to Masai Mara through Mara river as the Crocodiles target them as well to obtain their meal. By the end of the day, you will be able to spot the Big 5 game, bird species, and have a clear view of the green vegetation cover within this wonderful national park.

Day 3: Full day game drive
- Full day game drive: On day 3 of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife safari and Cultural safari, you will have to spend yet another day driving in Masai Mara national park. Masai Mara national park is a very big park with very many wildlife species of fauna and flora thus it cannot be full explored in one day this calls for this second day that will allow you to visit the reaming corners of the park. Therefore you will enjoy your breakfast and then pack your lunch box to meet your driver for another day in wilderness of Kenya driving amidst wildlife. The most encountered wildlife include mammals such as Buffaloes, Elephants, Zebras, Cheetahs, lions and many more.

Day 4: Hot air balloon and evening community encounters
- Hot air balloon: wake up in the morning of the day 4 of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife and cultural safari, meet your driver and be transferred to the place where the hot air balloon is carried out. Once you arrive early, you will be able to view the entire process of balloon preparation from pumping it and later on start the aerial exploration of the park on a hot air balloon. This morning hot air balloon is very interesting and upon landing, all the tourists on board are offered a bush breakfast, a bottle of Champaign and a certificate of participation then, later on, have a game drive as they return to the lodge or you may decide to remain in the park for some long hours’ drive before returning to the lodge for lunch
- Evening community encounters: In the evening of the 4th day out of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife and cultural safaris, you will be led to the Masai community where you will have an opportunity to closely interact with the local people in the traditional manyattas (grass-thatched huts), enjoy the unique traditional norms, dances, and drama and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and departures
- Morning game drive: this is your last day of 5 days Masai Mara wildlife and cultural safari. On this day you will wake in the morning to enjoy the last game drive where you will spot more wildlife including those already encountered on the previous game drives. After the game drive you will then return to the lodge for lunch.
- Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta international airport: After enjoying your lunch you will check out of the lodge, meet your driver, and have a game drive as you exit Masai Mara and embark on the journey back to Nairobi direct to the airport for departures to the next destination.
