4 Days Uganda Mount Elgon Tour
A 4 Day Uganda Mt Elgon Tour is a short safari package that leads you to destination that holds the world’s largest volcanic base and the largest caldera, “Mount Elgon National Park.” The park lies in Eastern Uganda and Kenyan border and boasts with the most magnificent waterfalls, caves, cliff gorges in the country. The trip starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Depart to Mount Elgon
Depending on your point of location in Kampala or at Entebbe Airport, our safari driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Thereafter, start a journey to Eastern Uganda with en route lunch in Mbale town. On arrival, you will engage in a walking safari around Sipi falls where you will enjoy the pristine view of the falls. Connect to your booked lodge /hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Forest walk at Kapkwai Trail
Enjoy a yummy breakfast at the lodge and carry your packed lunch as you go to tour the forest. You will also visit the Kapwai at the exploration center. Later, go discover the Bamboo Mountain Trail, which is 7 kilometers long. Depending on time, you can also visit the gorge and its southern edge as well as the gentle river. The forest walk experience is rewarding. Later in the evening, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sasa Trail
Enjoy breakfast at leisure before leaving for the whole-day hiking experience along the Sasa trail with your packed lunch. During your trail experience, you will be able to see the moorland and its beautiful landscapes from a higher altitude. Back at the hotel for refreshment, dinner and night sleep.
Day 4: Nature Walk & Return back to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, head out on a guided nature walk where you will be able to see notable bird species, tree species and a chance to tour a coffee plantation. Continue your journey back to Kampala.
You will arrive in the evening, where we will drop you off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
