Detailed Itinerary of the 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Habituation Tour
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be met by our guide who will pick you up from your hotel in Kanungu at around 5:30 am and transfer to Bwindi National Park ‘’Rushaga sector’’. Arrive at the park headquarters for a short briefing, then set off for the gorilla habituation experience a full-day activity. The experience is a once–in–a–lifetime adventure. The rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the gorilla group.
You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures whose company you will cherish for the full day in the jungle. Once gorillas are located, you will be given 4 hours to spend watching them as they play around, feed their younger ones, and learn their lifestyle as you enjoy your packed lunch boxes with memorable picture-taking for your future remembrance. After a great experience of the trek, you will hike back to the park headquarters and meet your safari driver. You will then reconnect with your guide and drive back to Kanungu with drop off at your hotel but expect to reach late at night.
