The 7 Days Rwanda and Kenya Safari is a combined safari tour package that takes you to adventure both Rwanda and Kenya‘s best African safari.
In Rwanda, you will visit Volcanoes National Park the most visited national park in the country because of is home to unique endangered mountain gorillas which are said to have 98% DNA.
Visit the magical of Kenya which is referred to for its scenic landscapes and vast wildlife preserves. During your Kenya safari, you will visit Lake Nakuru National Park a birders paradise where millions of pink flamingoes can be spotted, and visit Maasai Mara National Reserve a famous home to adventure diversity of wildlife. In other words, one of the most wildlife destinations in Africa.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival in Rwanda ‘’ a land of thousands hills’’ at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide. Depending on your time of arrival, you can go for a short Kigali City tour before heading to your hotel in Kigali City.
During the city tour, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, the Kimironko market and Caplaki Craft Village.
After the city tour adventure, drive to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, and check into your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Tracking – visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera
After breakfast, transfer to the park’s headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing about Golden Monkey tracking, a ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow during the experience. After the briefing, start the track into the bamboo forest trails of Volcanoes National Park to look for the golden monkeys, their primates are more active than the rare mountain gorilla and the experience is unforgettable. Golden monkeys are referred to as an endangered species. They are only found in Rwanda, Uganda and DR. Congo.
You will perfectly enjoy observing them play, feed and climb trees.
Golden monkeys are very playful, and active and also enjoy memorable photography and you should have a clear camera for perfect pictures. Expect to watch other primates like baboons Vervet monkeys and others.
After one hour in the presence of golden monkeys, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and rest.
Later, in the evening you will go for a visit to the Twin Lakes Burera and Ruhondo where you will enjoy interesting views of the Lake and various birdlife. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and transfer back to Kigali –fly to Nairobi
On this day, you will wake up early for breakfast and transfer to the park’s head center in Kinigi for Gorilla trekking rules. After, you will take a trek through different trails in search of gorillas – an experience which can take 2 to 6 hours depending on where were last seen the previous night.
Once you encounter the gorillas you will spend one in their presence as you enjoy their amazing behavior, play, feed as well as taking unforgettable pictures.
Then after, you will drive back to Kigali to fly to Nairobi Kenya. Upon landing in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our Kenya guide and transferred to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Afternoon game drive
On this day, wake up for breakfast, followed by an en-route game drive. After, drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve along the way you will enjoy the scenic views of the Rift Valley Escarpments and the local people in Narok town. Arrive in the park in time for lunch and your lodge.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive on which you will observe all the Big Five that is Rhinos, Buffaloes, Elephants, Lion and Leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive – Maasai Mara National Reserve
You will spend the full day in Maasai Mara National Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives, you will enjoy your packed lunch boxes and after, head to the endless plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve.
During the game drives, you will explore different sections of the reserve where you can explore various animals like lions, leopards, antelopes, zebras, eland, giraffes, rhinos, elephants many more.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch around the Mara River while watching animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Maasai Culture -Departure to Nairobi from the Maasai Mara National Reserve
After your leisure breakfast, transfer to the Maasai Village for an encounter with the local people during this cultural visit, you will enjoy the Maasai traditional dance and drama and get a deeper insight into their way of life.
Later transfer back to Nairobi to be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Tanzania for your next safari adventure/holiday.
