Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi –Maasai Mara National Reserve
On day 1 of the 8 Days Combined Kenya and Tanzania Safari, depending on your point of location either from the airport or your Nairobi hotel, our professional driver guide will pick you up and take you through a short briefing about the safari. Depart for Maasai Mara with the first stop at the viewpoint of the escarpment wall. You will later descend the escarpment and drive on to Narok town for early lunch. Arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp late afternoon, check in followed by an evening game drive till sunset on the ground. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Game drive
After morning delicious breakfast at the camp, leave the camp with a packed lunch for a full game viewing of 9 hours.
Maasai Mara National Reserve ranks as the home with the highest concentration of different animal species, where you will be lucky to see hundreds of them. A game drive to the Maasai Mara river is compulsory. If it is migration time, you will have witnessed millions of wildebeest crossing as well as seeing crocodiles and hippos at the river. Have a break around Mara river to enjoy your picnic lunch inside the park then continue with the game drive till the evening of 17:00hrs. You can leave the park for at least 2 hours of optional activity. Relax at the camp, take a nature walk with Maasai warriors, or visit the Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara and transfer Lake Nakuru National Park
You will wake up very early go for the morning game drive from 6:30 am to 09:30 am, drive back to the camp for a full breakfast, followed by check out and say bye to Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch en- route. On your way, you will be able to view Mount Longonot with an optional activity at Lake Naivasha if interested. Arrive at Nakuru Town in the evening. Check into the hotel or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru and travel back to Nairobi – Arusha
After breakfast at the Hotel drive to Lake Nakuru which is a famous home to thousands of beautiful flamingos and the endangered species ‘’Rhinos’’ among other Big five.
Lake Nakuru National Park looks to be small and very interesting. You will view the park within 4 hours you will have seen enough. Later leave the park with lunch en route and drive back to Nairobi. Arriving before 14:00hours to catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. Spend the night at the Arusha Hotel booked bed. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Arusha and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania
Wake up have an early morning breakfast, and have a briefing about the safari by your guide and other group members. Then depart to Arusha for Lake Manyara. Upon arrival check in and then proceed for a game drive with a packed lunch or have an early lunch at the lodge.
Lake Manyara Sound is one of Tanzania’s most visited wildlife areas hosting thousands of animal species. Home to track the rare tree-climbing lions and view the flocks of flamingos before, driving back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Manyara and then transfer to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park lies in the northern part of Tanzania and is widely boosted by the massive annual migration of the wildebeest and zebras which roam from one point to another in search of a new grazing area.
Some can be seen crossing the Grumeti River while others move to northeast to Lobo Hill’s home for the black Rhino and black eagles.
Have early breakfast at your reserved camp, after meeting the guide depart lake Manyara and travel to Serengeti. Arriving in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Have an early morning game drive at around 6:30 or have an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive. While on the game drive, you will track a huge number of animals that inhabit this park. At around 10 am leave Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge Museum to the Ngorongoro Conservancy area. Arrive at the Ngorongoro area, later in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater –Arusha
After a relaxed breakfast at the camp, then leave for 6 hour’s game drive at the crater. Fact about Ngorongoro all the vehicles are allowed to spend only 6 hours per day- updated by Tanzania Ministry of Tourism. It hosts the remaining few black rhinos among the thousands of animals we see here.
You will descend the crater with game viewing, this is one of the seven wonders and really perfect for a game drive. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim later ascend to the gate and transfer back to Arusha Drop off at your Arusha hotel.
