Day 1 of 8 days Kenya, Tanzania & Rwanda safari: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve for a Kenya safari

You may pack your lunch box or else be driven for lunch at the lodge and embark on a game drive. As soon as you land on Kigali international airport, you will be picked by a Rwanda safari driver for a brief introduction about expectations while in Rwanda as you drive around Kigali on a city tour. You will visit some of the 1994 Kigali genocide memorial sites that were put in place in memory of the hundreds of Rwandese that lost their lives during the bloody murder. Enjoy your enroute lunch and proceed to Volcanoes national park via Kiningi park headquarters for clearances and obtain your gorilla trekking permits. After all the park clearances, you will proceed to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 of 8 days Kenya, Tanzania & Rwanda safari: Mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park

Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park: after enjoying your breakfast at the lodge on day 7 of 8 days Kenya, Tanzania & Rwanda safari in Masai Mara nation reserve, Serengeti national park & Volcanoes national park, you will pack enough drinking water, enough snacks and all that you require for a gorilla trekking adventure. Set off for a briefing at the park headquarters with other trekkers and finally thrill deep into the forest for a fascinating gorilla trekking adventure. Trekking gorillas in volcanoes national park lasts from 30 minutes to 7 hours but once you finally get closer to gorillas, you will spend only one hour of close contact taking photographs and learning more about gorillas. While in the jungle trekking gorillas, you will also encounter other different wildlife species including other primates, mammals, birds, butterflies and many other attractions with in Volcanoes national park. After gorilla trekking, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. However on this day, you may spend your evening on a visit to Ibyiwacu cultural village to learn more about Rwanda culture.
