DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale forest national park.
Arrival: On day 1 of 4 days Kibale forest and Ngamba island chimpanzee viewing safari, you will be expected to arrive at Entebbe International very early before midday in order to create time for a drive to Kibale forest national park. Once you arrive at the airport, you will find our company representative waiting for you. You will be picked up and transferred to the hotel for lunch while having a briefing about this chimpanzee viewing safari.
Transfer to Kibale forest national park: After lunch you will embark on a 5-6 hours’ drive to the home of 13 primate specie, kibale forest national park where you will be expected to arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk.
Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest: After breakfast on day 2 of 4 days Kibale forest and Ngamba island chimpanzee viewing safari, you will be transferred to attend a chimpanzee trekking briefing at the park headquarters and later out penetrate kibale forest to search for these endangered primate species in their nature habitats. During chimpanzee trekking, you will encounter other primates such as Red tailed monkey, black and white Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and lots of mammals including Elephants, and other species that are always encountered while on a chimpanzee trekking adventure. After landing on the habituated chimpanzees, spend an hour taking photographs and observing the chimpanzees as they go on with their daily activities of feeding, playing, copulating, and breast feeding among others. You will later on return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Bigodi nature walk: In the late afternoon of 4 days Kibale forest and Ngamba island chimpanzee viewing safari, you will be transferred for a guided nature walk with in bigodi wetland sanctuary with the local guides who will be explaining everything you ought to know about the different botanical plant species in the sanctuary. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will check in at the lodge for Lunch and spend the remaining hours of the day at leisure on one of the beaches along Lake Victoria watching different water birds, swimming, and many more. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Visit Ngamba Island and departures.
Visit Ngamba Island: On day 4 which is even the last day of your 4 days Kibale forest and Ngamba island chimpanzee viewing safari, you will be served breakfast in the morning then be transferred to Ngamba Island on a boat ride to spend some time with the orphaned chimpanzees in a sanctuary . You wills cruise for less than an hour from the shores of Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island. Upon arrival at the island, you will be transferred to the sanctuary where you may also take part in feeding the chimpanzees and spend more time watching them as they interact amongst themselves and play cheerfully. During the visit to the orphaned chimpanzees, you will be in position to encounter other wildlife that reside in the sanctuary including bird species, butterflies and some other mammals .After this fascinating encounter, you will cruise on Lake Victoria again from Ngamba Island to the ground with a stopover at the equator line for a fascinating view as the Equator poles help in pushing the boat. In case you have more time, you will visit Entebbe zoo for a guided nature walk to watch different species of wildlife ranging from fauna to flora. Return to the lodge for lunch and then check out of the lodge for a transfer to Entebbe International airport for departures.
