This 10 Days Kenya & Tanzania Safari Holiday package leads you to spend five perfect days in Kenya, visiting Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara, and five days in Tanzania, visiting Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro and Manyara.
You will leave from Masai Mara to the Serengeti through the Isebania border. At the end of the tour, you may opt to visit Amboseli for one or two nights and then end the tour in Nairobi, Kenya, as opposed to ending the tour in Arusha or starting in Arusha.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depending on your point of location, our professional driver guide will pick you up, brief you about safari and then transfer you to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru sits across the equator and southward of Bogoria in the Great Rift Valley and is renowned all over the world for its flamingos and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world.
Lake Nakuru is also home to a rhino sanctuary, housing a good population of over 50 black and white rhinos. Flamingos act as main tourist attractions. The park is inhabited by almost two million flamingos, thus forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and an overnight stay at a campsite or lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After morning coffee or tea served with tasty snacks, followed by checkout of the lodge and then a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
This reserve is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers. The northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 3&4: Full Day Game Drive—Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend two days in Masai Mara National Reserve.
After a relaxed breakfast at the camp, head out for a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, carrying a packed lunch. Masai Mara is a famous home known for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife, among others. It’s among the few places where you can easily see the Big five during a morning game drive. Many cheetahs like seeking shelter from the hot sun under vehicles. Too many tourists climb onto the roof to get a gainful view of prospective prey!
Maasai Mara is a great stopping place for bird enthusiasts because over 500 species of birds have been recorded. Among these include 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustard ‘’Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and nine species of sunbirds.

Day 5: Leave Masai Mara and Transfer to Serengeti NP
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, followed by checkout and then transfer to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border crossing. Have a picnic lunch on the way. Arrive in the afternoon, with an en-route game drive and after, connect to your booked tented camp. You may choose to do evening game drives, which are also available.

Day 6&7: Serengeti National Park
Spend two days in Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at leisure, and then drive into the vast Serengeti that sits on an area of about 18,000 square kilometers, harboring more than two million large animals, including millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of plains zebras and Thomson’s gazelles, among others. Spot large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas that are drawn to the area by the abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. Other smaller animals to be spotted include rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons and African hares, and it inhabits nearly 500 species of birds.
Second day: Embark on morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti.
Options to add on—a visit to Olduvai Gorge or a hot air balloon flight. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Serengeti & Transfer to Ngorongoro
Wake up and have an early pre-breakfast safari. Morning hours are when animals are more active and witness a fantastic sunrise! The sunrise on the African savannah is quite a rewarding experience. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for brunch.
In the afternoon, you will drive to Ngorongoro, which ranks as the eighth natural wonder of the world. This crater is inhabited by a large population of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. Due to the large herds of elephants that reside here, they have extremely large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Start the day very early and descend onto the crater floor for a beautiful morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After the game drive, have a break to enjoy a picnic lunch near the beautiful hippo Lake. Thereafter, have time for a short game drive before you ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Lake Manyara. Arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Lake Manyara is the best location to see the unique climbing lions.

Day 10: Lake Manyara National Park /Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Take note of the park vibes for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, which is also home to baboon troops and blue monkeys. It is also a famous place recorded with various bird species.
Lake Manyara National Park is home to a large population of buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, impalas and hippos, who gather in large numbers around hippo lake. The park is known for its unique tree-climbing lions and the flamingos along the lake shore.
Game drives are perfectly done along the lakeshore, providing excellent views of animals in the foreground while the lake, flamingos and flat plains stretch out over the horizon. In the afternoon you will drive back to Arusha.
There is an option to schedule a bike ride tour. You will finish the tour in Nairobi or Arusha.
