It harbors the biggest percentage of mountain gorillas in the world, various species of wildlife and is influenced by the equator; the line that separates the northern and southern hemispheres of the world.

Uganda currently has a population of over 35 million people. English and Kiswahili are the national languages of the country. It got independence in 1962 but is still one of the poorest countries in the whole world.
